Course Description

LF281 focuses the organization on the framework for an open source compliance program. Intended for corporate and senior managers, the course reviews background material on open source software, open source development fundamentals, and open source compliance requirements. The course also discusses the scope of a compliance program and approaches to organizing and managing the compliance function, including skillsets, staffing, and computing assets needed to accomplish the compliance effort. Course material also covers additional resources available from The Linux Foundation to assist in implementing a compliance program, including training and white papers, open source compliance tools, self-assessment checklist, and community forum.
