Overview of Open Source Compliance End-to-End Process (LF384)
This open source compliance course will help your organization implement an open source compliance program by teaching you the fundamentals of open source development, licensing principles, compliance obligations, and the contributions needed from various functional groups, such as Executive Management, the Law Department, Supply Chain, Technical Documentation and Configuration Management.
Course Description
LF384 readies the organization to define and implement an end-to-end open source compliance program. Course modules cover the fundamentals of open source development; compliance obligations and requirements and their implications for functional teams; ways to organize and manage the compliance function, including the role of the OSRB; tools and automation for compliance, including commercial and open source tools; and approval of community contributions. An overview of the compliance program suitable for executive management is included, as well as discussion of the compliance contributions needed from various functional groups such as the Law Department, Supply Chain, Technical Documentation, and Configuration Management.
Please note: On-Site Linux Training is highly recommended to afford confidential and effective discussion of course material and its application to company practices. Instructor-led live remote training is also available.
