Open Enrollment Course Policy
When attending any Linux Foundation training, you agree to abide by our Anti-Harassment/Discrimination Policy.
Payment
Payment for classes may be done on-line though Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Â Orders should be placed as early as possible to reserve a place in a class, but no later than four full days before the class (e.g., Thursday the week before a class beginning on Monday). Â Registration confirmation will be received within 24 hours.
Cancellations
If you must cancel for any reason please notify us via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Â Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received at least 12 days prior the class, and may take up to 14 days to process. Â Please note that all refunds are subject to a 3% processing fee.
In the event that The Linux Foundation must cancel a training class due to lack of attendance, your refund will be processed in full (no processing fee will be charged) or you can use a credit towards another future training.
Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you can substitute another attendee in lieu of cancellation. Â To substitute an attendee, you may return to registration form, login in as 'Already Registered' and edit the registration with the new attendee's information. Â Utilizing this feature will also allow you to re-issue yourself a receipt and/or confirmation should you need it.Â
Rescheduling
If a rescheduling is requested more than 14 days before a class is to be held, no penalty will be assessed and a student may elect to take the class at a later date at the same or another location. Â No guarantees can be made as to when the next possible session the student can attend might be. Â Such rescheduling can be done only twice without incurring penalties.
If a rescheduling is requested within the 14 day window before the class, the student will be assessed a 50 percent penalty fee, to be paid before the class can be retaken. Â The same penalty will be assessed if rescheduling is requested more than twice, even if it is done more than 14 days before class is to be held.
No refunds will be given for students who simply fail to show up for a class.
Cancellation by The Linux Foundation
If training is cancelled due to circumstances not under the control of the Linux Foundation the student may elect to take a full refund or take a credit for the next available rescheduling of the class the student can attend. Â Such circumstances include natural disasters and emergencies, severe weather conditions, airline strikes and power disruptions.
If The Linux Foundation has to cancel a class for any other reason less than 12 days before the start of training, the student may elect to take either a full refund or a credit for the next available rescheduling. Â The cost of any non-refundable airline ticket change fees will be credited towards enrollment in the rescheduled class upon receipt of proof of unused nonrefundable airline tickets.
Special Needs
If students have special needs that need to be taken into account in the classroom environment, they should notify the Linux Foundation two weeks in advance so any accomodating measures can be communicated to the training facility and to the instructor.
Intellectual Property
