Cloud Native Computing Foundation and Linux Foundation Education are excited to announce the launch of the Kyverno Certified Associate (KCA) certification. Designed for Kubernetes Administrators, DevOps and DevSecOps Engineers, Security Analysts, Cloud Native Developers, Compliance Officers and other IT and cloud native professionals, the certification proves their skills in managing and securing Kubernetes environments.
“Policy management is fundamental to running Kubernetes at scale securely. Kyverno plays a critical role in making that achievable,” said Chris Aniszczyk, CTO, CNCF. “As Kubernetes adoption grows, KCA certification is essential for advancing careers and building trust in secure infrastructure.”
The KCA proves to employers that an IT professional has the expertise to define and implement security policy and actively contribute to the overall security posture of Kubernetes clusters, making them a valuable asset for cloud native and Kubernetes-focused teams.
“Earning a Kyverno certification demonstrates you understand Kubernetes as well as the advanced aspects of its policy management and security,” said Clyde Seepersad, SVP, General Manager, Linux Foundation Education. “As cloud native adoption continues to grow, automating the security posture is a top priority, making the KCA a valuable credential for improved career prospects for any cloud pro.”
