In just one hour learn key concepts of API, REST API, and HTTP API.
Linux Foundation Training & Certification is excited to introduce Interacting with REST and HTTP-based APIs (LFEL2001), part of our new suite of Linux Foundation Express Learning courses. This one-hour course explains the concepts of API, REST API, and HTTP API, providing a brief overview of the REST architecture and identifying some desirable attributes that APIs can impart to a system. The hands-on portion of the course gives learners the chance to apply their knowledge of what an HTTP API is to spin up and interact with their own HTTP API.
Designed for anyone familiar with how to open a command line interface, the course prepares participants to describe, design and interact with simple REST and HTTP-based APIs. After completing this one-hour course, you will also be able to describe the principles of the REST architectural pattern and make informed decisions about which aspects of REST to apply to your own APIs.
“We are constantly looking for ways to better meet the learning needs of open source technical professionals,” said Clyde Seepersad, SVP, and General Manager, Linux Foundation Training & Certification. “Our new express learning courses are designed to quickly teach professionals a specific technical skill in 90 minutes or less.”
Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion as well as a digital badge.
Interacting with REST and HTTP-based APIs (LFEL2001) is available for immediate enrollment for US$49.
