  2. Take LFS201 and get LFCS & Other Certifications
    This package deal gives you the knowledge and credentials you need to get your first job in Linux IT. The online self-paced course covers all the things you’ll use as a SysAdmin on a daily basis, and the certification will help you demonstrate to your future employer that you have what it takes to do the job.   5. Take Other Courses
    Once you’re settled into your first sysadmin job, you’ll want to start adding to your sysadmin knowledge. A great way to do this is to take additional training from The Linux Foundation on topics like OpenStack, Linux networking, and KVM. You can see all our scheduled courses here.
    Many employers have a dedicated training budget, and if you ask, you can often get your training paid for!
