There’s no question that Linux is a worldwide phenomenon. And as it becomes more and more popular, there’s increasing demand for Linux training in various languages.
As part of our mission to expand access to quality Linux training for people across the world, we’ve released LFS201 Essentials of System Administration in Spanish and, as of today, Portuguese.
We’ve also translated questions for the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator exam into Portuguese and Spanish. While exam registration, setup, interface, and proctoring will still be conducted in English so basic knowledge of English is required, now candidates will be able to better demonstrate their skills because they will be responding to questions in their native language.
With Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries are expected to add hundreds of thousands of IT jobs in the coming years, it is our hope that by offering this course in these languages, this course and LFCS certification will enable anyone who wants to compete for one of those positions to do so.
