Call Us Linux Foundation Education!
Why are we changing our name from Linux Foundation Training & Certification to Linux Foundation Education? The evolution of technology has always been about what technology enables all of us to do. Educational technology has evolved significantly during the last several years and we are working hard to be sure you have access to the newest innovations in learning tech, enabling you to learn more, grow faster and help the open source community succeed.
In addition to our traditional learning and certification offerings, we will soon be offering new learning tools that meet IT pros when and where they need knowledge and skills most with micro-learning, on-demand labs and more.
“Our new name is important because it emphasizes our purpose – to educate people in ways that advance the open source community.” said Clyde Seepersad, SVP, General Manager, Linux Foundation Education, “It also portends the new ways we will be working to fulfill our purpose in the coming months and years.”
What else is changing? Nothing. Other than our name everything else stays the same. Please continue to use the same process and credentials to enroll in our industry-standard setting, vendor-neutral certifications and training courses.
Follow us on LinkedIn and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on all our launches. We will be rolling out the name change and logo updates over the coming months.
