Build MCP Integrations and Interactive Apps
for Real-World AI Systems
Building useful agentic AI requires more than a model. Applications need secure access to the right tools, data, and systems, along with interfaces that let users interact with the results. Linux Foundation Education, in partnership with RX-M, has launched two new instructor-led courses covering both sides of that equation: Model Context Protocol Foundation (RXM404) and MCP Apps Development (RXM405).
Model Context Protocol Foundation (RXM404) is a two-day instructor-led course focused on building MCP clients and servers that can securely connect AI applications to real data, tools, and enterprise systems. In this course, you’ll learn how to:
- Build MCP clients and servers that expose tools, resources, and prompts
- Connect agentic applications to external APIs, data, and enterprise systems
- Apply security, authorization, and transport practices for production use
- Debug, test, and harden MCP integrations before deployment
MCP Apps Development (RXM405) is a one-day instructor-led course that builds on MCP fundamentals with a focus on creating interactive experiences that connect users directly to MCP tools and results. In this course, you’ll learn how to:
- Design MCP tools that return interactive app views
- Build resources that render safely inside MCP-capable hosts
- Connect app views to live tool results through the app bridge
- Secure interactive apps against prompt injection and unsafe actions
Whether you’re focused on building secure MCP integrations or developing interactive MCP applications, these new courses offer hands-on training for putting MCP skills into practice.
