The Linux Foundation is launching the all-new Linux Foundation Certified IT Associate (LFCA) exam. The LFCA is a pre-professional certification intended for someone considering starting an IT career. Learn more about LFCA here.
Are you interested in being a Beta tester at no cost and get certified if you score well? If so, please read on!
- LFCA is an online, proctored, exam with 60 multiple-choice questions.
- A passing score on the LFCA Beta will earn candidates the LFCA certification.
- December 4 is the deadline for Beta sign-up.. 200 candidates will be selected.
- Week of December 7, selected Candidates will receive instructions to register.
- December 15 – 29 seats will be available for registered Candidates to schedule a time to take the Beta exam
At the end of the exam, each beta tester will be prompted to answer exam experience questions in a feedback form. Candidates must provide beta feedback in order to qualify for certification.

NOTE: The LFCA exam will be available for purchase from the Linux Foundation starting on November 30 during our Cyber Monday Sale. LFCA-BETA redemption codes and LFCA purchases are non-transferable.
