Learn to Cost Optimize Kubernetes Deployments
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation and Linux Foundation Education are pleased to announce the launch of a new, e-Learning course, Cloud Cost Monitoring for FinOps with OpenCost (LFS248). The course is designed for engineers, developers and system administrators concerned about the cost efficiency of their Kubernetes deployments.
“In today’s cloud native world, managing costs and efficiency are just as critical as managing workloads. OpenCost provides the visibility and insights needed to optimize Kubernetes resource usage and reduce expenses,” said Chris Aniszczyk, CTO, CNCF. “This new course teaches professionals to leverage OpenCost effectively to drive cost transparency and accountability.”
Upon completion, participants will have a solid understanding of container costs across cloud providers and be able to work with data captured by OpenCost to track costs for FinOps and optimization efforts.
“Learning OpenCost is a smart career move for any cloud native pro. Combining technical expertise with actionable cost insights helps position you as a trusted advisor to the business,” said Clyde Seepersad, SVP, General Manager, Linux Foundation Education. “This will help better position you for strategic leadership roles.”
