JUST Launched: Linux Kernel Debugging (LFD445)

September 16, 2024Announcements

Position Yourself as a Linux Innovator

Linux Foundation Education has just launched Linux Kernel Debugging (LFD445). Designed for current and aspiring kernel developers, device driver developers or anyone interested in shortening the development cycle by taking advantage of existing tools and facilities.

Many high-demand roles, such as Linux Kernel Developer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), and Performance Engineer, require expertise in Linux internals and debugging,” said Clyde Seepersad, SVP, General Manager, Linux Foundation Education. “Having these highly desirable skills opens doors to specialized and higher-paying roles on almost any IT team.”

Linux Kernel Debugging (LFD445) teaches techniques for local debugging by configuring a system for remote debugging from a second system. You will learn to work with the basic components of the Linux kernel that underlie the built-in debugging frameworks, enabling you to deliver improved productivity in Linux kernel development environments by diagnosing and fixing kernel issues more efficiently.

This live, instructor-led, 3-day virtual class includes hands-on labs, allowing participants to practice their new skills. Those that successfully complete the course will receive a certification of completion and a digital badge.
