Learn to Fortify Digital Architectures Against Threats
Linux Foundation Training and Certification has launched the new course Mastering Infrastructure Security: Strategies, Tools and Practices (SKF200) designed for developers aiming to deepen their understanding of infrastructure security and management. It is ideal for those who wish to enhance their knowledge in network penetration testing and infrastructure security skills.
“The attacks to our technological infrastructure – essentially all our infrastructure – increase exponentially every month,” said Clyde Seepersad, SVP, General Manager, Training & Certification, Linux Foundation, “While every developer should have strong security skills, those that invest the time to learn and practice will be both highly sought after and much more likely to be deemed essential by employers.”
This 24-hour, self-paced, e-Learning course includes hands-on labs that provide increasingly difficult challenges from basic to advanced. Participants will explore the fundamental elements needed to establish and maintain a secure infrastructure configuration and the principles and techniques of network penetration testing to identify potential security vulnerabilities. Course enrollment includes access to our discussion forum, enabling participants to interact with fellow students and experts. Course topics include:
- Infrastructure & Ops Security
- Reconnaissance – The First Step of Hacking
- Scanning, Identifying Vulnerabilities and Mapping the Network
- Gaining Access: The Art of Exploitation
- Mapping and Information Gathering
- Service Enumeration and Subdomain Takeover
- Default Pages, Backup Files and Application Versions
- Command Injection Attacks
- Privilege Escalation – Linux
- Privilege Escalation – Windows
- Security, TLS and Configuration
Those who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of completion and a digital badge.
